Answers to your frequently asked questions

frequently asked Questions

What's the easiest way to open the coffee tin?

We know that opening our adorable jar can be a little challenging, especially the first time you hold it.
We really care about sustainability, so we've made sure our packaging is made from the best recyclable materials.

Until we find something even better, we've come up with the easiest way to open it: just grasp the lid by the very edge and lift it slowly while gently unscrewing it. This makes it easier to overcome the internal vacuum, which ensures minimum moisture and maximum freshness inside the jar.

Yes, all our coffees are free from caffeine and other stimulants, making them suitable for the whole family.

Some teas, such as the Calms Me Down blend, contain herbs that are not recommended for pregnant women.

I found some suspicious fluff in burdock root coffee!

The occasional fibre fluff found in the raw material is derived from natural fibres (lignin, hemicellulose, etc.), which sometimes remain even after it has been thoroughly sifted, because the vibrations of transport can cause the fibres to agglomerate again.

These fibres do not affect the taste or phytochemical characteristics of the coffee and remain in the sediment after brewing and filtering.

What kind of coffee can I drink just black - without any milk?

For those who love black coffee, our chicory, dandelion, burdock, barley and carrot coffees are renowned for their bean-coffee-like colour and delicious, aromatic flavour - each with its own unique aroma and aftertaste!
